So I managed to squeeze in a little time at weirdstuff and picked up a
couple of boxes of sun software and also a couple of SUN PCi IIpro Cards
(375-3051) - there are a pile of about 15 of them still there if anyone
is looking for one.
Is that one that would work in a SunBlade2500 sliver running Solaris 10?

I've got some Sparc 10's 20's, Ultra 5/10, etc. Also a few S100 bus
systems I am about to put on eBay - but would rather have 1) An
interested collector acquire them and 2) Have local pickup ;)

BTW: I'm located in Mountain View - just a few miles from PA.

Cheers,
Lyle

Hi folks
About to spend the week in Palo Alto and am on the hunt for old sun
hardware, mvme boards and maybe an S100 system
I will do my pilgrimage to bweird stuffb but thought I would see if
others had similar haunts that they would recommend?
Thanks in advance

Hi There

I am honestly not sure

These links may help
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/SunPCi

https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19085-01/pci2.card/806-4788-15/806-4788-15.pdf

Supported Systems and Power Requirements
The SunPCi II card is a 33/66-MHz PCI card that draws 25 Watts (DC) of power.
You can install the card into any standard 33- or 66-MHz PCI slot on one of
the UltraSPARC systems listed in table 1-1

Table 1-1 list systems that were supported at the time

Btw the cards do not have the serial/parallel breakout cable but I didnbt
see that as a major issue.

HSC (halted.com) isn't much in the way of computers but it's got a lot of
weird and neat electronics surplus, definitely worth a look if you've got
some time.
If you *really* want to load up on toys, well, HSC is for sale these days
(owner(s) contemplating retirement.)

Operating System Support
The Sun PCi IIPro is currently (as of September 2006), supported by Solaris 7, 8, and 9, but using some tricks can work on Solaris 10.[1] The Sun PCi III and IIIpro are supported
by Solaris 9 and 10 (with appropriate updates), and most recent OpenSolaris releases.
cheers
